Collection & Delivery
By booking a repair with Laptop Screen Repair UK you agree to have your laptop collected by our preferred national courier. Please ensure your laptop is securely packaged to avoid damage to your laptop in transit. The national courier charges Laptop Screen Repair UK for the collection and delivery of your laptop. In the event that your laptop screen can not be repaired you agree to pay this collection and delivery charge to cover our costs (£14 inc VAT). This charge is waived if your laptop screen is successfully repaired and payment for the fixed price service is completed.
Data loss & Damage
Laptop Screen Repair UK can not be held responsible for any damage or loss of your laptop in transit. Laptop Screen Repair UK not be held responsible for any data loss. Please ensure any confidential/critical/important data is backed up prior to the collection of your laptop where possible.
Warranty
A 90 day warranty is included on all laptop screen repairs/replacements. If your laptop screen becomes defective due to mechanical failure within the 90 days you are entitled to another repair free of charge. This repair will be subject to a £14 collection and delivery charge. Any additional repairs under the initial 90 day warranty do not extend the initial repair 90 day warranty. The 90 day warranty does not include accidental damage or physical damage to your laptop screen. The warranty does not include failure of other components within your laptop. If our engineers confirm accidental/physical damage or other component failure under the warranty period the 90 day warranty becomes void.
All replacement laptop LCD panels are security marked and a tamper-proof mechanism is enforced on all our repairs. The 90 day warranty will become void if the security mark is different or tamper proof mechanism is broken.
Payment
Laptop Screen Repair UK accept all major credit cards or Paypal payment. On completion of your laptop repair, Laptop Screen Repair UK will contact via email/SMS for payment. Payment can be made on our secure payment page on-line which will be made available once your repair has been completed or via our call centre.
In the event that we cannot contact you via the mobile telephone number or email address submitted in the “book repair form” we will write to you at the collection address specified to collect payment. If there is no response within 30 days of the repair of your laptop screen your laptop will become property of Laptop Screen Repair UK and sold on to recover costs associated with the repair of your laptop.
Complaints Procedure
It is Laptop Screen Repair UK’s interest to keep all customers happy and offer a quality service. If we fail to deliver on this promise we would very much like to hear from you in the form of a complaint/feedback. Please be aware we can not be held responsible for the actions/service by the courier company that we use however we would still be interested in feedback. If you have a complaint or feedback please contact feedback@laptopscreenrepair.co.uk and your message will be dealt with promptly.
